Also called "Marianne's tooth and the badge that killed Bill". Friends are kind - Marianne gave me her tooth, Bill's widow gave me his 30-year long service badge from the chemical company. Bill (father of the New Zealand artist Michael Smither) - a fine silkscreen printmaker and a gentle man. It comes to us all - dentistry, decay, death. (The rich can avoid only taxes) |
