| Made for an exhibition called Chop, Chop at Gallery Thirty-Three in Wanaka. Artworks on chopping boards. I'm pleased with this one. Decided to just call it Chop Chop as the thoughts were getting mixed between Sacrificial Beast, the knowing beast looking at us carnivores, the American political/financial scene (the cow has been made from an old Coke can), the short sweet life of the eaten animal .... Too many connotations to sort out. Holy Cow? So I call it just Chop Chop and let the viewers make their own thoughts. |
