| The things we leave behind. Ephemera rather than epigrams. Trivia more than treasures. Unnamed, unsigned, bits left over. Piano mechanism and a copper object of unknown function. The wooden cross made of matchsticks ... made for religious hope, black magic, or boredom? We'll never know. . Behind the objects are traces of city life, bits of text from a Will, a French notebook, an old newspaper. Shreds and traces. |
